I really want to share a pretty remarkable story about one of my good friends and her amazing results with ALOERIDE®…. It’s the story of how this tiny little capsule of pure Aloe Vera powder rose to meet and conquer a very demanding challenge by providing strength to the immune system, calming chronic stomach issues, healing a rash and creating beauty from within – all at the same time!
Pamela Newman is one of the busiest, non-stop, full-throttle people I know. A former model, film and television actress, and now a huge advocate of Aloeride®, her schedule is dizzying. Even as I write this, she flew into Los Angeles this morning just to be interviewed for a documentary on a rock musician. She returns home immediately as she has a photo assignment tomorrow. And so it goes with her.
Here’s a little background on my friend and new Aloeride® devotee! Pamela was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota (we former actresses never tell what year), and began her modeling and pageant career in Minneapolis. When still quite young a chance encounter led to a brief whirlwind courtship and marriage to an internationally famous rock musician. Quickly swept away she found herself planted in London as a home base, and for the next decade traveled the world on tour with her husband and his band, hitting as many modeling assignments as possible along the way. Eventually returning to the States the jet-setting couple settled in Hollywood. The marriage unfortunately did not survive the lifestyle, but Pamela did, quickly turning her sites to studying acting and landing commercials. The commercials soon opened wide the doors to guest starring roles in television. Playing the beautiful dumb blonde to perfect pitch; she became an extremely popular regular on every top television sit-com throughout the 80’s. With guest-starring appearances on shows like CHIPS, The Jeffersons, Too Close For Comfort, Different Strokes, Trapper John, The Cavanaughs and Joan Rivers, she established herself as an actress in demand. (You can still see her just about every week in a myriad of re-runs.) She eventually remarried yet another musician/songwriter who had played in bands such as Touch, Sheena Easton, The Osmond Brothers and Shaun Cassidy—to name a few. The couple eventually fled the hectic Hollywood scene for the more tranquil upscale community of Carmel, California. This, as most know, is the home of Clint Eastwood, Doris Day and an ever-popular destination for all the stars -especially those who love breathtaking views and one the very best golf courses in the world, Pebble Beach.
Pamela, taking all her expertise in modeling and acting set up a model management company in her new home town. She also honed her hobby of taking photos for her husband’s album covers into a full-blown career as a professional portrait photographer; shooting all her client’s portfolios and headshots. She also carried with her a love of working with young up-and-coming models; teaching them posing, runway, make-up, hair and all the beauty tricks of the trade. Not unlike most of our friends, we all continue to have a passion for caring for our skin, hair, monitoring our weight and maintaining overall energy and good health. Pamela always teaches this to all her young clients too. And so when I began raving about the results I was getting from Aloeride®, Pamela was first in line to raid several boxes from me. She had only just begun taking those magic little capsules when she called to give me her exciting news… America’s Next Top Model (a top television show in the U.S.,) had just put out the word they were coming to Carmel to audition teenage girls for the show! Of course all of Pamela’s young clients were overjoyed and couldn’t wait to try-out! In addition the phones were ringing off the hook when an ad was placed that Pamela would be holding open calls for girls who wanted to learn the ropes prior to the upcoming t.v. auditions. Well, poor Pamela didn’t have a clue what she was in for… She never could have imagined the outpouring of response and the physical and emotional demands which would soon besiege her! Already suffering from a chronic “nervous stomach,” exhaustion, and a recent severe rash on her face, she was in dire need of something that would truly be effective in healing, strengthening and stabilizing her through the upcoming deluge…
Stay tuned for Part II of how this remarkable little capsule Aloeride®, came to the rescue of poor Pamela and the harrowing auditions for America’s Next Top Model!
